General Radiologist

Job Summary

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo.

The group of 10 radiologists covers the following sites: Nanaimo Regional Hospital, West Coast General Hospital, Tofino General Hospital and Oceanside Urgent Care, along with a private imaging office.

Scope of Work

Preference will be given to candidates holding either sub‑specialty training or significant clinical experience. A variety of specialty interests/training will be considered. Experience with breast imaging, including screening, would be an asset. The work includes all facets of medical imaging and applicants must be comfortable with minor interventional procedures.
