General Radiologist – Bay of Plenty

We are seeking to recruit General Radiologists to work up to 40 hours per week. Available positions are based in the Bay of Plenty at either Tauranga or Whakatāne Hospital. Special interest in Paediatric and/or Chest imaging would be beneficial, though all areas of subspecialty interest would be considered. The Tauranga Radiology department comprises of four general rooms (includes one room in the Emergency Department), two Toshiba CT scanners, five colour doppler ultrasound machines, a Siemens fluoroscopy suite. A private MRI facility is operational on-site. The Whakatāne radiology department comprises of two general rooms, a Toshiba Prime CT scanner and two colour doppler ultrasound machines. Applicants must be eligible for registration as a Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
