Genetic Laboratory Technician (España)

Job Summary

Temporary Genetic Laboratory Technician for a maternity leave (approx. 9 months). Location: JUNO Genetics Laboratory, Valencia (Spain). The role supports daily operations in a laboratory specialized in reproductive genetics, including Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) and Carrier Screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures for PGT‑A, PGT‑SR, PGT‑M, and Carrier Screening including processing of blood samples, embryo biopsies, DNA, and other sample types using techniques such as PCR, qPCR, library preparation for NGS, etc.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their review and improvement.
• Assist in preparing documents for the laboratory’s Quality Management System according to ISO15189 standards.
• Prepare reagents and manage inventory control.
