Opportunity Description

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Genitourinary Cancers. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligible in Medical Oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff and medical students. Applicants must have excellent qualifications in teaching. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service.
