Opportunity Description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Operations Geologist based in Aberdeen. This has been released on a 12 month contract.
This role will consist of working office hours with a 3 on and 3 off duty pattern whereby you will be on call 24 /7 for the 3 weeks. During reservoir sections there will be a 12 hour shift to geosteer the well using LWD tools with a 3rd team member from Subsurface Well Delivery on the opposite shift. There is expectation for candidates to take time off post duty and then return to office hours until the start of the next duty rota. Main point of contact from offshore team (mudlogging, LWD, DD, DSV. Note no Wellsite Geologist offshore) and onshore service company geosteering and FPWD teams for entirety of well,
