Opportunity Description
To provide geological and geotechnical expertise in the assessment, design, construction, and monitoring of dams and hydropower projects. The Engineering Geologist will ensure geological risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively to support the safety, integrity, and performance of dam infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field mapping, borehole logging, and geotechnical sampling
- Supervise drilling and in-situ testing
- Analyze stratigraphy and hydrogeology
- Coordinate geophysical surveys
- Advise during excavation and foundation preparation
- Monitor geological conditions during works
- Conduct inspections and reporting
- Support change management if ground conditions vary
