Tasks
- Define space allocation models for components and perform the geometrical integration of systems in the wind turbine layout.
- Prepare and moderate design reviews in collaboration with other departments inside Nordex and external suppliers.
- Create the layout design considering geometrical requirements coming from Product Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Service and HSE.
- Identify synergies across projects and products to increase the reuse of parts and decrease complexity and cost.
- Determine the scope of the new design based on Engineering Change.
Profile
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Deep knowledge in CAD and PLM tools, Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred.
- Comfortable in handling large assemblies.
