Job Description: GIS Specialist

Position Overview
The GIS Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting spatial data that inform site selection, land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder engagement. The role includes updating maps, creating geospatial datasets, generating KMZ/KML files for visualization, conducting field verification activities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of geographic information used across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Geospatial Data Management
- Build, maintain and update geospatial datasets, base maps, and thematic maps, including metadata documentation and version control of GIS layers.
