GL Accountant - 1 year contract

Our client is an international organisation with operations across multiple regions, currently undergoing a finance systems transformation. They operate in a fast-moving environment and are enhancing their financial infrastructure to support continued growth. The business offers strong cross functional exposure and the opportunity to work closely with a core finance team on a high impact project.

Responsibilities

• Support finance activities related to the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Participate in data cleansing and validation work prior to system migration.
• Assist with reconciling legacy ledger balances, ensuring all opening balances and open items are correctly identified ahead of migration.
• Contribute to mapping existing accounts and transactions to the updated chart of accounts.
