At Goldman Sachs, the Relationship Lending Group (RLG) serves as a cornerstone in the firm’s approach to the relationship-based lending business. By underwriting, structuring, executing, and advising on a wide array of transactions that require the firm’s capital commitment, RLG ensures the smooth facilitation of financial solutions ranging from unsecured and secured revolvers—including asset-based lending and borrowing base facilities—to term loans, bridge loans, delayed draw term loans, and letter of credit facilities. These transactions span primary loan syndication, refinancing, amendments, secondary market purchases, and bilateral lending.

Collaboration is central the RLG role; team members will regularly coordinate with other banks syndication desks, clients/borrowers, external legal counsel, and a broad spectrum of internal teams such as Investment Banking, Investment Grade Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Legal, and Credit Risk Managemen...
