Overview
The City of Caldwell Golf Department is looking for a Golf Professional to join their team. This individual manages activities related to the play of golf; performs professional and technical tasks related to promoting, teaching, and developing golf within the community; and operates and manages the city's golf pro shops. The work is performed under the supervision of the Golf Superintendent with extensive leeway granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Direct supervision is exercised over assigned staff and golfers to ensure compliance with rules and maintaining the condition of the golf courses. The principal duties of this class are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment, which may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards. This is an exempt position.
