Governance Advisor

Rangitīkei District Council is looking for an experienced and highly organised Governance Advisor to lead our democracy function and help ensure the effective operation of local government in our district.

This is a stand‑alone role with broad responsibility for supporting Council, committees, elected members, and community boards. You'll be at the centre of local decision‑making, ensuring governance processes run smoothly, statutory obligations are met, and elected members receive high‑quality support and advice.

This is a full‑time permanent role based in Marton .
