GP Vacancy for Salaried Post or GP Partner - 6 Sessions

Dr McMaster & Partners, The Health Centre, Girvan Community Hospital, GIRVAN KA26 9HQ. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced, or newly qualified GP to join our friendly, well established and supportive training Practice (currently FY2 training Practice with an aspiration to GP Training). We are a semi rural Practice based in the modern, purpose built Community Hospital in the coastal town of Girvan.

Our team consists of 3 GP Partners, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 ANP and 7 administrative staff serving a population of around 4,459 patients. We participate in an in hours rota for the provision of medical cover for the Minor Injuries Unit and 20 in patient bedded community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Normal clinical duties, including 15 minute face to face appointments
• Telephone triage
• Occasional home visits
