Lander-Grinspoon Academy, a private school in Northampton, MA, is currently seeking a dynamic, creative and highly motivated full-time 6th grade teacher.
What you will do You will teach general studies to 6th grade students every day.
In addition you will:
- Plan and deliver lessons in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies Plan and oversee graduation Staff the “Teva” environmental overnight trip Support families in transitioning to 7 th grade placements Partner with families in regular communication Nurture within each student a joyful sense of identity Commit to implementing our social/emotional curriculum as well as our strong academic program Qualifications Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to school-wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts.
