Opportunity Description
Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual to work as a Grader Operator.
Position Details:
- Camp based position, 5 on 2 off shift
- Long term contract
- Camp located 1.5 hours from Prince Albert
- Operate new CAT graders with joystick controls
- Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain gravel roads as per specifications
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Problem solve when dealing with unexpected situations
- Follow all safety procedures
