Graduate Planner - Water Industry

Purpose and Scope of the Role

Tetra Tech’s Water Consultancy is seeking a Graduate Planner to join the Water Team in Newcastle supporting AMP8 and AMP9 frameworks across the UK. You will develop, maintain and monitor project programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, coordinate construction inputs, produce progress reporting and support project controls under NEC3/4 contracts. Daily activities include schedule development, earned‑value and risk analysis, site progress reviews and liaison with project teams on multi‑million pound capital delivery projects.

Your Impact in This Position

You will immediately improve schedule accuracy and reporting clarity, enabling better decision making on live projects. Over 12–24 months you will take ownership of defined workstreams, lead programme updates, support change control and cost forecasting, and contribute to mitigation strategies.
