Opportunity Description
System One is working with a Local Client to find candidates for a 2nd Shift Grinder position (3pm-11:30pm) M-F.
The HVOF Grinder position is responsible for the precision grinding, finishing and inspection of parts coated using the HVOF thermal spray process. This position ensures that all components meet strict dimensional tolerances, surface finishing requirements and quality standards as required by specifications. This position reports to the Grind Shop Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate manual or CNC grinding machines to finish HVOF-coated parts to specified tolerances and surface finishes.
+ Set up grinding equipment including fixtures, tooling, and appropriate abrasives for various HVOF coatings (e.g., tungsten carbide, chromium carbide).
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
+ Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, profilometers, etc.) to ensure conforman...
