Job Description – Ground Source Heat Pump Design Engineer Company: Hex Energy Ltd
Location: Hybrid (UK-based) Offices in Nuneaton CV10
Hex Energy is seeking a capable and motivated Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) Design Engineer to join our growing team. The role will involve the design and delivery of both commercial and domestic GSHP systems , ranging from small-scale installations through to large projects of up to multiple MW capacity .
Assess geological conditions and interpret available borehole and site investigation data
Use specialist software (e.g. Heat pump sizing and selection
Generate and maintain CAD drawings for GSHP systems and plantroom layouts
Update and maintain internal design tools, templates, and software systems
Provide technical input into tenders, proposals, and project delivery
Support installation teams with design clarification and technical guidance
Work across both commercial and domestic projects
