Groundworker/ Machine Driver

Your newpanyWe’re recruiting an experienced Groundworker / Machine Driver to join a respected civils contractor delivering ongoing works across electricity substation sites in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas.
This is a permanent PAYE role working on a long-term framework programme, offering stability, consistent hours, and genuine progression opportunities for the right person.

Your new role

Groundworks associated with substation construction and upgrades

Drainage installation – including deep and shallow drainage

Concrete works – bases, plinths, and formwork

Ducting installation for HV infrastructure

Operating plant and machinery safely (360 excavator, dumper, or roller depending on tickets)

Working to strict health & safety protocols on high-voltage sites

Supporting the site teams to ensure deadlines are met to a high standard
