Hand Surgery TIG Fellow: Broad, Hands-On Experience

Swansea Bay University Health Board is offering a one-year Training Interface Group (TIG) fellowship in hand surgery, starting in August 2026. This prestigious program aims to develop proficient hand surgeons through exposure to a diverse range of hand and wrist surgeries, integrating insights from both Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

The fellowship allows the successful candidate to gain valuable experience while contributing to the multidisciplinary team without on-call duties. Ideal candidates should have a relevant postgraduate qualification and be enrolled in the Diploma of Hand Surgery.
