About the Role

We are seeking an adaptable, reliable, and detail-oriented Maintenance Fabric Technician / Handyman for an immediate-start contract position based in Ponteland.

Operating on a rotating 3‑shift pattern between the hours of 06:00 and 23:00, Monday to Friday, you will be the go‑to resource for keeping the facility safe, functional, and visually up to standard.

Key Responsibilities

• General Fabric Maintenance: Carry out first‑line building fabric repairs, including minor carpentry, basic plumbing touches, changing locks, adjusting doors, and fixing fixtures.
• Painting & Decorating: Own the internal and external cosmetic upkeep of the site, executing high‑quality patching, priming, painting, and glossing as required.
• Grounds Maintenance: Oversee the external appearance and safety of the site, managing general grounds upkeep, clearing pathways, and ensuring waste management protocols are followed.
