Job Summary
The Hardware Technician II is an intermediate-level position responsible for the disassembly, repair, overhaul, modification, alignment, assembly, and diagnostic evaluation of mechanical systems and trainer devices.
Essential Job Functions
- Independently performs operational diagnostics of complete trainer systems, analyzes results, and conducts disassembly, repair, overhaul, modification, system integration, synchronization, and final inspection to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Disassembles and inventories mechanical components and systems.
- Uses engineering drawings, schematics, and technical directives to fabricate subsystems or units as required.
- Assembles subsystems or units into complete systems, ensuring proper alignment and synchronization for operational functionality.
