Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a **HAZMAT / HAZWASTE Handler / Shipper** to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
The **HAZMAT / HAZWASTE Handler / Shipper** is responsible for the safe and compliant management, handling, packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials (HM), hazardous waste (HW), other regulated waste (ORW), and medical waste. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

+ Completing the collection, packaging, transportation, and shipping of hazardous materials (HM), hazardous waste (HW), and excess HM in compliance with applicable standards, including the **Diego Garcia Final Governing Standards (DGFGS)** and the Contractor’s accepted Discarded HM/HW/ORW Management Implementation Plan.
