Position Overview
Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a popular restaurant and tearoom in Jersey to bring on a Head Chef. The successful candidate will lead the kitchen team, ensuring high‑quality dishes and excellent customer service in a busy, family‑friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Produce inventive, crowd‑pleasing dishes that meet high standards in taste and presentation.
- Lead and train the kitchen staff, providing motivation and retention support.
- Operate a 45‑hour week (Monday‑Friday 8‑4, weekends 8‑5) and maintain operational excellence.
- Work closely with the owner and oversee menu development and food costing.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, inventory management and compliance with health & safety.
- Support the patisserie and pastry operations as needed.
