IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Principal
SALARY RANGE: Teacher Contract
CONTRACT LENGTH: School Year
POSITION SUMMARY: Assumes major responsibility for counseling and guidance services for students assigned at the building level.
DUTIES:
Scheduling students in their program of studies. Implement testing program. Act as a consultant to parents regarding their child and his/her progress and/or adjustment. Candidate participates in the 8-Step Process of instruction and remediation/enrichment. Provide personal counseling for students experiencing adjustment difficulties. Candidate uses data to guide instructional decision making and works collaboratively in a Professional Learning Community.
