Head of Engineering

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role accountable for the delivery, performance, and growth of a team or function, not solely its technical output.
• Track record of building and developing engineers and emerging leads, owning hiring, the performance bar, and the talent density of the teams you run.
• Demonstrated ownership of how a team delivers, including planning, prioritisation, and the operating cadence that turns roadmap into predictable, reliable delivery against business commitments.
• A current and hands-on technical foundation, with the depth to own the architecture and build-vs-buy decisions directly and stay credible in the codebase.
• The judgement and stakeholder credibility to make commitments on behalf of engineering, manage trade-offs with product and commercial leadership, and be held to the outcomes.
