Head of Plant - Load & Haul

Job Description

Calling all open cast experienced Head of Plant - Load & Haul. A large open cast Mining Company based in the Gauteng Province, has just the opportunity! The role will development and implementation of an effective strategy to drive engineering operational excellence. Development, monitoring and measurement of key initiatives and targets that drive and maintain business growth through the plant fleet.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

•10 - 15 years’ experience in a Senior Management role

•10 - 15 years’ experience in an open pit mining environment

•Experience in supplier management, warranty management, quality control and plant failure investigations

•Experience in Contract Mining environment

•AMT experience will be an added advantage
