Health Care Assistant – Thames Maternity Unit

About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant you will work under the direction and supervision of the registered midwife in supporting new mums on their journey to motherhood.
Key Responsibilities
- Support women through pregnancy, birth and post‑natal care
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with patients and staff
- Utilise Microsoft Office for documentation and communication tasks
- Promote women’s health and well‑being, including understanding and embracing Tikanga Maori and Te Reo
- Assist with administrative and customer‑facing duties in a health care setting
Qualifications
- Experience in a health care setting, administrative role or customer‑facing position preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
