Health Information Management Technician

**Adecco Healthcare** is working with our client to hire a temporary Health Information Management Technician to work at their facility in Costa Mesa, CA. This position is an in-person/on-site role.

**Pay Range:** $28-30+ per hour DOE
**Location:** Costa Mesa, CA
**Shift:** 8:-4:30p Monday - Friday - 3 month assignment with possibility of extension/direct hire

**Responsibilities Include:**

+ Processing health information under the direction of the HIM Manager/Supervisor
+ Pick-up of discharged patient records from nursing units
+ Prepping/scanning/indexing documents in the EMR.
+ Answer telephone and respond according to department policy
+ Keep supervisor informed of issues/concerns that may arise
+ Seek additional tasks when assigned work is completed
+ Provide backup coverage for other positions in the HIM department
+ Meets quality and/or productivity expectations.
