Healthcare Assistant - Marie Curie

We’re looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Cardiff and the Vale Hospice, providing compassionate, high‑quality end‑of‑life care during day and night shifts.

As a Healthcare Assistant you’ll play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic, person‑centred end‑of‑life care. Under the guidance of registered professionals you will support patients and their loved ones with personal care, symptom management and emotional support.

You’ll contribute to care planning, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe and dignified environment. This is a compassionate and hands‑on role where your work will make a meaningful difference in people’s final stages, while also supporting their families through grief and bereavement.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £24,833 per annum + enhancements (pro rata)

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week.
