Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients (Bank)

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist colleagues in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, neurosurgery, plastics surgery, ENT and gastroenterology.
• Provide patient care in an outpatient setting and assist with dressings and wound care.
• Help consultants and nurses with procedures.
• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities to keep the day‑to‑day operations of the various clinics running smoothly.
• Develop and maintain a flexible, patient‑focused approach.

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (preferred).
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Strong communication skills, patience, focus and a keen eye for detail.
