Opportunity Description
Operates and maintains Central Heating Plant systems and equipment. Maintains steam flow to accommodate needs of College. Operates CHP in manner to achieve College’s environmental goals.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $28.14 - $33.11 per hour.
The shift for this position is as follows:
Wednesday - Friday 11:00am - 9:00pm and Saturday 5:00pm - 3:00 am
Core Responsibilities:
+ Must be flexible with work schedule. Plant operates 24/7/365. Weekends, and holidays are included in work schedule. Must be a team player, willing to work: days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be willing to work occasional overtime.
+ Operates boiler plant (Biomass gasification plant, natural gas, and fuel oil boilers) for production of 125 psi and 250 psi steam to serve all campus systems. Collects plant process data and maintains written and computer logs throughout shift. Receives and c...
