Opportunity Description
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic, JLTV (aka JLTV Wheeled Mechanic 91B) involves maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the operational readiness of wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct thorough inspections of wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, power train components, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components.
+ Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
+ Inspect, adjust, and test parts and systems to ensure functionality.
+ Supervise and professionally develop subordinates.
+ Handle maintenance-related administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.
+ Plan work area layout for efficiency and safety.
