***This position will be physically located in The Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Vertical Lift Lead under the oversight of the senior lead, oversees the day-to-day execution of the crane/aerial lift platform workload in equipment maintenance shop. Monitors the analyzation of fault malfunctions, repairs and maintains aerial lift platforms, such as, but not limited to cranes, manlifts, container handlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, variable reach forklifts, telehandlers and platform grapplers. Ensures established policies and procedures are effectively enforced. Controls shop maintenance schedule to ensure maximum utilization of assigned personnel. Reviews work in progress and upon completion for conformance to standards and to ensure section maintains the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
