Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repair, and service of fleet trucks and heavy equipment.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
+ Have knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
+ Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
+ Perform highly skilled and complex mechanical repairs on heavy equipment, including, but not limited to excavators, loaders, graders and commercial vehicles.
+ Ability to do math, follow verbal and written instruction.
+ Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
+ Basic knowledge of computers.
