Heavy Equipment Operator

Purpose: To prepare and manipulate heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials. Operators must conduct their duties in a safe, diligent manner at all times. Operators monitor workflows and suggest alternatives to enhance productivity, as needed. Responsibilities Maneuvers motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials. Observe stipulated safety codes at all times Report injuries and equipment damage to management Inspect trucks, excavators, bulldozers and other heavy equipment for proper performance Operate bulldozers, excavators, articulated dump trucks, scrapers, and other equipment Drive pick-ups, flatbeds, and water trucks as needed Set up and maintain erosion control Set up and maintain traffic control Check and maintain grade stakes Provide general maintenance of equipment and tools May be required to do general office work, shop work, or housekeeping This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest (and growing) ...
