The University of Alabama Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine, Department of Surgery is currently recruiting faculty candidates to be considered for an open rank/open tenure faculty appointment as a Transplant Surgeon and Immunologist in the Division of Transplantation. The successful candidate will be expected to meet clinical, research and teaching needs, as applicable, in the Department of Surgery. UAB has successfully completed more than 14, organ transplants since , when we performed Alabamas first kidney transplant.
