Job Description
Hemodialysis Nurses provides specialized care to patients with kidney failure, managing their dialysis treatments, monitoring their health, and educating them about their condition.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with kidney failure through hemodialysis treatment.
- Initiates, monitors, and terminates hemodialysis treatment.
- Works closely with other medical staff to ensure that the patient is safe while undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
- Refer any concerns, complications, laboratory values to the In-house Physician/Attending Nephrologist.
- Discusses patient’s concern and does the health teachings to patient.
- Verify that patients are taking all prescribed medications, advising doctors of any significant change in patient’s health.
