Overview

Monmouthshire County Council have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to join the Heritage Team within the Council’s Planning Service. The Heritage Team are part of the Development Management Service and provide all aspects of Heritage advice across the County. The Heritage Team deal with all aspects of the historic environment including processing pre-application enquiries, Listed Building Consent applications, Conservation Area Consent applications, advising on planning applications in historically important areas, serving formal notices, pro-actively managing the Buildings at Risk Register and overall Management of the Historic Environment in Monmouthshire.
