Opportunity Description
Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25. Minimum 6 months experience required for this role.
Pay
- Days: £19.75 per hour
- Nights: £20.50 per hour
- Saturday: £21.25 per hour
- Sunday: £22 per hour
- Bank Holiday Day: £23 per hour
- Bank Holiday Night: £26.99 per hour
Responsibilities
- Delivery of totes, pallets, and black boxes to stores and distribution centres
- Operating tail lifts, pump trucks, and dock levellers
- Completing 1-4 drops per trailer (typically 1 run, occasionally 2 per shift)
- Ensuring safe and efficient loading/unloading of goods
- Carrying out store deliveries, some of which involve tight access and reversing
- Working primarily Thursday to Sunday with potential ad hoc mid‑week shifts
- Shift start times: 04:00 for days, 11:00 – 13:00 for afternoons
