HGV Class 1 Drivers Temp

Driver Hire Huddersfield are currently looking for Category C+E – Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us working alongside prestigious clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting Clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands. Most Clients are looking for a minimum 1 years’ worth of experience on this entitlement.Role Trunking work, curtainsiders, flatbeds and tail lift experience
Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off
Ensure that the vehicle and it’s cargo get to their destination safely.
Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered. Requirements Be in possession of a Cat C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence
Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK
