Opportunity Description
Overview
Reporting directly to the Transport Manager or Depot Team Leader, as an HGV 2 Driver you will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods from one location to another. The role involves long-distance driving, strict adherence to road safety regulations, and the timely delivery of cargo, while upholding our values of Teamwork, Care, Customer Centricity, Respect, and Integrity in every journey. This position requires a valid HGV 2 licence and sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Please note that this role requires a basic DBS check as part of our commitment to safety and responsibility.
Driving and Delivery
- Operate HGVs (Class 2) to transport goods to various destinations.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods as per the schedule.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- Always drive the vehicle in line with all statutory and legislative regulations.
