High integrity software group leader (model based & embedded systems)

The Team:
You will lead the growing High‑Integrity Software (HIS) engineering group within JLR’s Vehicle Platform (VP) team at TBSI. This team develops high‑integrity propulsion control software for next‑generation electric, hybrid and conventional vehicles. The group spans Functional Safety Engineers, High‑Integrity Software Engineers, and Process/QA Engineers working on safety‑critical embedded control systems.
The Role:
This role combines line management responsibility with technical leadership across safety‑critical embedded software development. You will build, lead and mentor a high‑performing team delivering model‑based control software, Functional Safety work products and ASPICE‑compliant processes. You will ensure engineering excellence, robust project execution, and a culture that puts safety and quality first. The team size will initially be around 15 people, but with potential for further growth in the future.
