Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school without walls covering the East Dorset and Bournemouth area. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

As an HLTA, your day will be varied and interesting. You will provide support to our teachers by assisting either in our West Moors base or out in the local community for children who cannot attend school; you will follow a flexible structure and support our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning.

1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings. We offer education on an outreach basis.

You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.
