SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the operation of equipment to produce rubber hose. Positions include: 2-spiral cover operators, wash cover operator, 4-spiral and 2-spiral tube operators, and wash tube operators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Set up, operate, and monitor extruders and braider decks to produce rubber tube and cover and make adjustments to correct for speed and temperature
+ Load bobbins of yarn on braider decks and balance for operation
+ Operate braiders decks to wrap yarn over the tube to reinforce the hose
