Job Summary
The Manager of the Hospitalist Medicine Group (HMG) will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the activities of the hospitalist team to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and effective collaboration within the organization. The Manager manages all the administrative needs for the HMG and physicians including clinical schedules, quality, revenue and patient-related reports, and day-to-day operation of the department. The HMG manager has the responsibility to facilitate the development and execution of Hospitalist initiatives. The position is responsible for the management of multiple priorities that impact patient care, quality, cost, risk and patient satisfaction. The Manager of the Hospitalist Group will also be instrumental in assisting with the Post-Acute Care Optimization Project by creating workflows to improve patient safety, coordination and effectiveness of transitions from acute care (hospital or ED) to home through a struct...
