Host/Hostess - The Americano

**_JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_**

+ Greets guests upon arrival, according to IHG standards.
+ Answers telephone communications, takes reservations.
+ Attends to special guests' requests.
+ Ensures personal grooming and uniform are to the required standards.
+ Promotes image of restaurant by displaying impeccable manners, diplomacy and tact towards restaurant/hotel guests.
+ Complies with hotel's health, safety and hygiene policy.
+ Reports all questions and related issues to the Supervisor, or Manager on duty.
+ Ensure that all menus must are checked and clean.
+ Greet every single guest with a warm welcome, in the appropriate area of entrance.
+ During dinner service, makes sure to display the appropriate color of napkin white/black and introduces the waiter who will take care of the table.
+ Help guests with the chair
+ Present an open menu to each guest and a clean wine list to every table.
+ Wish the guest a pleasant meal
