Duties include completing medical health assessments and providing medical treatment, counseling, and health education relevant to adolescent growth and development to secure detention facility residents and other Juvenile Services group home residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties necessary to deliver services to customers and citizens may be assigned.

• Acts as the official health/medical resource to the detention/group home staff as related to control or communicable diseases, health and medical problems of detainees/residents, and other relevant health problems
• Performs routine physical assessments on detainees and those residents at the group home prior to their 59th day
