Opportunity Description
Overview
Housekeepers are assigned to each Academic Building to maintain public/ common areas, to assist in eliminating distractions such as unwanted graffiti, dust/dirt, and unwanted smells from the learning environment and to assist in the protection of the faculty, employees, and student's health and safety.
Responsibilities
Cleans all areas of the building including, but not limited to the following and other duties as assigned:
+ Empties and cleans waste receptacles and replaces bags as necessary
+ Dusts and mops hard surfaced floors
+ Thoroughly vacuums, including all edges of carpeted floors
+ Arranges furniture to its original position
+ Reports any damage or vandalism to your Housekeeper or supervisor
+ Cleans glass to classroom entrance doors
+ Wet mops hard floors as weather and usage conditions dictate (daily during winter months)
