Opportunity Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Housekeeping Manager in the daily supervision of the Housekeeping Department according to the hotel set standard and carries out assignments as directed by the Director of Housekeeping in an appropriate manner.
- Supervise and oversee the day-to-day Housekeeping operation including inspection of guest rooms.
- Coach and train all hosts in the department, improve their work performance through inspections, corrections of standards and provide direction.
- Ensure hotel and housekeeping regulations and procedures are being followed by all housekeeping hosts.
- Attend and assist to conduct housekeeping communication meetings.
- Investigate complaints, take corrective actions and follow through.
- Inspect guest rooms, floor pantries and public areas as required and as per procedure.
- Conduct daily physical inspections of guest rooms, to ensure prescribed standards of cleanliness.
